Friday evening to officially start the Reunion, the Goerhing family had dinner at the Flying W. Ranch. There is an old town that you can walk around in and purchasing things, entertainment, and things to learn like how to shoe a horse.
Around 6pm, we all went into a great big hall for dinner. We went through the lines by groups and received an 'old west ranch' meal, complete with tin plates and cups, barbecue chicken, homemade biscuits and applesauce, baked beans, and spice cake.
We were a little squished, so we told the girls they could sit with my cousins.
Janae and Kenny were nice enough to buy all my kids cowboy hats for the occasion.
After dinner there was live country band to sing old western songs. They were really fun and the kids loved the music. It was a really fun night.
