Tahoe!

Ok, so I realize this is a Bazillion pictures, but they were all too cute so I had to include them. We went up to Tahoe for our annual Presidents day trip with our friends. This year the Noska and Hatch families came too. Lora was unable to make it due to her pregnancy and we missed her! But we made sure her family felt welcome and had a great time too.

These were taken in the backyard at the house. We haven't had hardly ANY rain fall this year. It has been abnormal warm, so there was only about 1-2 inches of snow on the ground. It was enough for them to have fun though!

These were taken at a public park behind the casinos by the Heavenly Gondola.

The GANG!

Besides sledding, we watched movies, played games, and just "chilled."  The boys played pool, the girls cooked, the kids found things to do. It was a nice relaxing weekend and we can't wait to do it again!

My first bash! Lora's Shower

Our first party here at the house!

So, I LOVE my new house. I feel like it was meant to be with me and I with it. I'm OOBER grateful to be able to live here in a place that is like a blank canvas. I can style it however I want, do whatever I want, imagine and dream whatever I want.

Well, one thing I want to do A LOT is have people over. I love to socialize and I want my home to feel like anyone can be here at any time. My first big party was Lora Hatches baby shower. Lora is due in April and is expecting a little girl. I rounded up some help, so really all I had to do was clean my house and make the invites. Liz Reese did all the decorations, Jen Noska and Tina Brown did the food, and Sharon Howard bought the cupcakes. It all turned out so beautiful and Lora loved it!

Celebrating Christmas with Friends

This year we had a Christmas party with our friends from the kids school. These people were in the trenches with us for parent club and we appreciate and love them so much! Because there were 25 of us including 12 kids, we decided to do it at 4 Corners so no one would have to deal with the mess or the cooking.  I had made Christmas packets for the kids with color pages, word searches, clue games, etc. for them to work on while waiting for the dinner. I was so grateful that they loved them and did a great job sitting still at the table; even the little ones!

After dinner the kids made Reindeer food with Lora.

We even had a special visitor who dropped off some goodies for us!

Front - Aubree, Ben, Shawn

The adults had a white elephant gift exchange, which the kids got a kick out of!

Weren't we all surprised when Michelle received the "stolen" lawn ornament from the Noska's house!
Jen stole this one back once it was here turn.

Brent received popcorn, cups, candy, and a movie gift card.
Perfect right?!

Sharon got Brent's gift!
A female urinal filled with candy.
The bests gifts of the night though had to be from the Noskas. They had a family sized snuggie and slipper speakers. But when the owners opened up the boxes, they found another surprise!

Craig trying on his new socks. Definitely not the family Snuggie he thought he had!

Danielle with my cousin Shelby.

Sydney playing with the straw glasses that they received from the slipper stereo.
